Welcome to Quarters Cottages
In 2015 we decided to retire and spent two years rebuilding and renovating Quarters Cottages turning them into unique and luxurious accomodation for holiday makers. The cottages were originally used by the US Airforce during the second world war between 1943 and 1944. The base was home to the Flying Eight Balls and we have managed to make the most of the artwork and features they left behind over 70 years ago. All the properties have been named after events that happened here and the people that were important on this site during that time.
Our aim was to make the houses comfortable and of high quality finish and now you’ll find 4 exquisite cottages with character, heritage and beautifully restored. The cottages comprise of a one, two, three and a four bedroom cottage sleeping from two to seven guests. Sitting in the gardens you can look out over open fields and see deer and other wildlife including owls and woodpeckers. The sunrise and sunsets are truly magnificent.
We live within the grounds and can help with any information regarding the local area. We look forward to welcoming you to Quarters Cottages.
